Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. was founded on June 24, 1910 in Milan, Italy and the famed Italian car maker’s 100th anniversary will be celebrated at the 2010 Concorso Italiano.
Concorso Italiano plans to honor the marque in a variety of ways, headlined by the Centerpiece Display, a wide-ranging exhibit of Alfa Romeos from early street and racing cars to modern cars. In addition, the Alfa Romeo Association plans to mark the occasion by using Alfas to spell out the words “Alfa 100,” while the Alfa Romeo factory may send a concept car or two to tease the Alfisti.
Concorso would like to hear from you if you would like your Alfa Romeo considered for the Centerpiece Display. To submit your Alfa Romeo, send photos and a description of your Alfa to ci@concorso.com.
The Alfa news is in addition to the previously announced F40 Reunion, where the Ferrari F40 Reunion Group will celebrate 20 Years of the Ferrari F40 in the USA.
Now in its 25th year, Concorso Italiano will again be staged on the fairways of Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey California, held Friday, August 13th from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
