Auctions America achieves more than $5.5 million at its annual Auburn Spring collector car sale at Indiana’s historic Auburn Auction Park last weekend, achieving total sales of $5,521,885, with 77 percent of the 350 vehicles on offer sold. Top seller was a rare 2006 Ford GTX1 TT “Spyder” (shown center stage above) taking top honors at $330,000.
Filling out the top five in sales were a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet at $299,750, a 1987 Buick GNX that brought in $110,000, a 2005 Maybach 57 Base Sedan at $87,450 and a 1932 Ford V8 Deluxe Roadster that hammered through at $86,000.
