The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has recently announced that it will again offer a series of special “behind the scenes” tours of the famous Brickyard. Reservations are now being accepted for a series of 1.5-hour long tours that will be held on various weekends from June to September of 2003 and provide an in depth look at the evolution of the Speedway over its 92 year history.
Participants will receive a guided tour of the 2.5-mile oval and unprecedented access to the Speedway’s most important landmarks including: the Gasoline Alley Suites, the start/finish line, the famous “Yard of Bricks”, the four-story media center, the Pagoda Control Tower’s timing and scoring suite, the victory platform, Gasoline Alley garage area, and of course, the historic racecar collection of the Speedway’s museum.
