Jochen Rindt drove a Brabham BT26-Repco, with the Repco 860 twin-cam heads, which proved to be an important power improvement, but not quite enough to top the Cosworth DFV. Rindt qualified 5th, but ultimately retired due to a fuel leak and resultant fire.
