Reports from Argentina indicate that former Formula One driver Carlos Reutemann may be considering a bid to become president of the financially troubled country.
In an Argentine newspaper, Reutemann, who already serves as the govenor of the Santa Fe province, said, “It is an unforseen situation and I am going to study it, but before anything, I will prioritize the decision of the santafesinos who have elected me to govern the province until 2003.”
The former Ferrari, Williams, Lotus and Brabham driver retired in 1982 after 146 career Grand Prix starts.
