Brands Hatch played host to the international Shell Ferrrari-Maserati Challenge on July 21-22, with a series of hotly contested races.
In the categories for open-wheel cars and drum brake-equipped sports cars, the pair of Irvine Laidlaw (Maserati 6CM & 250S) and Burkhard von Schenk (Maserati 250F & 300S) split a pair of races apiece in both categories, while the races for disc brake-equipped sports cars was dominated by David Franklin in Carlos Monteverde’s awesome Ferrari 712 Can-Am car.
