The Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 was a dominant car in Grand Prix racing’s pre-war era. It was the first true single-seat Grand Prix car, and to artist Cook it captures the Alfa magic with its beautiful lines and deep red paint. He saw a photograph of this car in a magazine some years ago and decided he needed to create an enormous painting of it to mount above his fireplace mantel—which he did at seven feet wide! While that piece is hand-painted acrylic, a digital version is also available. Please visit his web site and see his other classic racing and sports car artwork.
