A superb group of 60 exquisite automobiles will take to the show field at the Palace of Hollyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, for this weekend’s fourth annual Concours d’Elegance on September 4-6. Leading the way will be a 1912 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost London-to-Edinburgh car (above), which helped establish the company’s reputation for dependability under the label of best car in the world.
Also on display will be a 1923 Bugatti T23 Brescia, one of only 200 ever built and one of just 19 known still to exist, and a 1949 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport, one of only three with bodywork by coachbuilders Franay. Also on hand will be a selection of eight Ecurie Ecosse cars, including the team’s Le Mans-winning Jaguar D-Type and its famous transporter.
