The 2008 Euro Auto Festival was held October 17-19 at the BMW Zentrum located next to the BMW Manufacturing Co. center in South Carolina.
Now in its 13th year, the Euro Auto Festival is a 3-day affair that brings together European Car enthusiasts to display and celebrate the great European car marques. Held in and around the massive 4 million square foot production facility where BMW produces the X5, X6 and Z4, the Festival included a car show, an autocross, special exhibits, specialty merchants and a road rally.
Additionally, spectators could wander into BMW’s on-site museum “Zentrum” to see the past, present and future of the German auto manufacturer or head over to the nearby BMW Performance Driving Center to experience the latest M5 around a road course, autocross a 3-Series or experience an X5 on their off-road track.
The 2008 Euro Auto Festival’s featured marque was the Cars of Sweden. As you would expect, there were many Volvos and Saabs among Italian, German and British marques as well for a total of 490 cars in attendance.
