A special panel of “Junior Judges” organized by Hagerty Insurance made their way to the UK’s Cholmondley Castle on Sept 8-9, to select their favorites at Chris Evans’s popular CarFest. These judges, aged from 8 to 14 years old, were charged with voting for their favorite classic car on the car club stands. Among the cars nominated by their respective car clubs were a Reliant Sabre, Jaguar E-Type, TVR V8, Caterham Superlight and an Austin Healey 3000 Mk III, as well as a Moskvitch 427.
However, the budding enthusiasts voted unanimously for Graham Durber’s recently restored 1960 Mercedes Benz 190 SL. Local Junior Judge Josh said, “This car was the one we all agreed we wanted our Dad to have in the garage at home.”
