A season-opening track day event for pre-1972 cars, the Coupes de Printemps, will take place Saturday April 2, 2016, on the glorious Montlhéry Autodrome, near Paris. It is expected to draw some 100 historic motorcars in three groupings to enjoy the 3.4-kilometer track’s spectacular banking and its three chicanes.
Each entry includes: Track time for one car and two drivers; Six entry tickets to the event for two drivers, two passengers and two guests; Breakfast, lunch and an open-bar for two people in the Driver’s Club; and gifts generously presented by event sponsors to all participants.
The program will commence at 8 a.m. with a welcome breakfast and administrative checks, followed by a briefing at 9:10. The first two hours of track time begin at 10 a.m., followed by a noon lunch and a prize-giving scheduled for 1 p.m. The day will close with a second untimed track session running from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Further information can be obtained by contacting the organizers with an e-mail to flavienmarcais@hotmail.fr
