Instead of a single featured marque for the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts’ 2012 Pacific Northwest Historics at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington, the 24th annual event will be a celebration of All British Cars. Everything from Aston Martins to Triumphs will be embraced at the June 29-July 1 event, with “Battle for Britain” races highlighting production-based cars on Friday and purpose-built racecars on Saturday all part of the tribute. Sunday will feature the ever-popular USRRC race for big-bore sports racers.
With HMSA celebrating MG at the Portland Historics at Oregon’s Portland International Raceway the following weekend, participants are encouraged to plan a double weekend and enjoy twice as much racing in the great Northwest. For further information please visit: www.sovren.org or www.hmsausa.com
