BBC TV’s Top Gear is seen in 170 countries. There is now an insipid American version, which remakes original programs in a cozy way. The American presenters have had personality bypasses and have yet to look up irony in a dictionary.
A while back, Top Gear challenged viewers to nominate the company that has made the most great models. The usual suspects all figured and then the presenters said that the real answer is Lancia. A string of cars were presented and the case was proven without even having to consider prewar models such as the 1924 Lambda, the first production car with unitary construction, or the 1937 Aprilia.
