Jackie Stewart leads the way during the 1973 Monaco GP in the iconic Tyrrell 006, followed by his close friend and teammate François Cevert. Stewart went on to win by 1.5 seconds from Emerson Fittipaldi; Cevert finished 4th after suffering a puncture on lap two. This was Stewart’s 25th career win, matching the achievement of his friend and compatriot, Jim Clark. As the season unfolded, Stewart claimed his third and final World Championship having enjoyed victory five times that season.
