The Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Car Race was staged June 29 to July 1, 2012 at the 2.25 mile, 10-turn Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington. Sanctioned by Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN), the 24th annual Pacific Northwest Historics celebrated British Racing Cars and Johnny Rutherford served as Grand Marshal.
Notable entrants at the 2012 SOVREN Pacific Northwest Historics included Richard Duncan’s 1966 Bill Leonheart Special; 1967 Porsche 910 and 1959 Lotus 17 of Thor Johnson; Cameron Healy’s 1965 Porsche 904/6; the 1965 AC Cobra of John McKenna; Dennis and Don Racine in their Mini Coopers; Walt Cox in his 1966 Ford GT40 Mk II; 1964 Crusader of Ron Federspiel and Bill Babcock’s 1959 Peyote MK II.
