The 6th annual Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance was staged Sunday, May 3rd in Beverly Hills, California. Situated on a hill overlooking the city, the Tudor Revival Greystone Mansion, with its landscaped and distinctive formal English gardens, served as the unique and elegant host to approximately 150 automobiles and motorcycles. The 15 classes were well represented during the event, with most vehicles being judged in their respective category for awards that were presented later in the day.
Best in Show Concours d’Elegance at the Greystone Mansion Concours 2015 was awarded to the 1929 Duesenberg Model J-129 LeBaron Dual Cowl Phaeton owned by Doug Skeen and Ted Gildred, while the 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta of Bob Cohen won Best in Show Concours de Sport.
Throughout the day, attendees at the Concours had access to the estate grounds and were able to see the interior of the mansion. The 2015 Greystone Concours was limited to 3,000 visitors, keeping all those who attended within a comfortable level to enjoy all the cars, motorcycles, vendor displays, gourmet food, beverages, libations and the vendor marketplace and seminars within the historic Doheny mansion.
The Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance supports The Friends of Greystone, a non-profit organization dedicated to the continuing restoration and preservation of Greystone Mansion. Built in 1927, the estate was a gift from oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny (The 2007 film “There Will Be Blood” was loosely based on his life) to his son, Edward “Ned” Doheny, Jr. and his family. The city of Beverly Hills purchased the estate in 1965, with the property becoming a city park in 1971. In 1976, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the Doheny Estate/Greystone. The house and grounds are often used in movie and television production, with the descending staircase being one of the most famous sets in Hollywood.

Somebody needs to tell the judges that a Corvette is not a muscle car. It is a sports car. I am sure there must have been GTOs, 442s, or SSs around for that category.
Very nice images !
Great to see you there, Victor!
Mike
Thanks, Mike! It was great seeing you there as well.
