Seventy-five desirable collector cars went under the hammer during last weekend’s 10th edition of Artcurial Motorcars’ Automobiles sur les Champs sale on Les Champs-Elysées in Paris. Sales totaled €3,855,673 ($4,202,684) from an 80-percent sell-through rate, with top price paid for a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 (above, Christian Martin photo courtesy of Artcurial Motorcars) that gaveled for €667,500 ($727,575).
Other top sellers included a 1964 Alpine M64 Berlinette that brought in €369,520, a 1927 Bugatti Type 40 Speciale that sold for €274,160, a 1976 Porsche Carrera RSR 3.0 that netted €226,480, and a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC 2+2 that went for €202,640
