The Port Jefferson Hill Climb will celebrate its 100th anniversary this July 18 with festivities including an automobile parade around the village and a Classic and Antique Auto Show at the Port Jefferson Village Center—as well as the actual Hill Climb itself. The event is held as a benefit for the Port Jefferson Harbor Education and Arts Conservancy, which supports local cultural and educational events. The beautiful park in front of the Center overlooks the harbor where one can watch the ferry coming from Bridgeport, Conn., to the original starting point of the race.
