The 5th annual Fabulous Fifties Concours d’Provenance at the South Coast Botanical Gardens in the Los Angeles suburb of Palos Verdes once again displayed a wide variety of classic automobiles under classic Southern California sunny skies. John Morton served as the event’s Honorary Chairman, and in that capacity selected Michael G. Sheehan’s 1951 Troutman Barnes Special as Best of Show.
Other class winners included Greg Johnson’s 1955 Healey 100S, Michael Jacobsen’s 1934 MG NA Special, Rick Hayden’s 1961 Volvo P1800A, Doug Magnon’s 1969 Formula 5000 Eagle Mk5-Chevrolet, Hank Williams’s unrestored 1964 Cobra 289, and Dave Dwoskin’s 1964 Falcon Sprint V-8.
