The 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt concept car was one of a series of six penned by former Cord designer Alex Tremulis. Built on a Chrysler C-26 chassis, with 323-cu.in, Straight-8 engine, the Thunderbolt’s streamlined body, enclosed wheels and retractable hardtop were way ahead of their time. Interestingly, all six examples were sold to the public and still exist today.
