The Fairfield County Concours d’Elegance will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Alfa Romeo with a broad array of the famed Italian cars in Westport, Connecticut, on the weekend of September 12–13.
Headlining the show will be a trio of classic Alfas, an original, unrestored 1938 8C 2900 Spider by Touring, a 1938 6C 2300 B Mille Miglia, and a 1937 8V 2900 with coachwork by Pinin Farina. All three cars are held in private collections and will be making rare appearances at the Fairfield Concours.
Also on display will be a 2008 tribute to the nine B.A.T. (Berlinetta Aerodinamica Tecnica) Alfa Romeo concept cars of the 1950s, a full-size mockup of a contemporized B.A.T. 11, as well as a 2008 8C Competizione, the car with which Alfa Romeo returned to the U.S. market last year after a decade and a half away.
