The Vintage Sports-Car Club will celebrate the 80th anniversary of its first standalone race meeting — held at Donington Park on April 23, 1938 — with a Formula Vintage Historic Festival befitting the occasion. The Festival will take place at Donington on Sunday June 24 and mark the VSCC’s return to Donington (above, Pete Austin photo) following a four-year absence.
The event will feature a selection of cars taken from the VSCC’s own Racing Grids, supported by a number of selected guest races, with the full race program to be published early in the New Year.
The Formula Vintage Historic Festival at Donington Park in June will complement the 2018 Formula Vintage season, which features six rounds beginning at Silverstone on April 21-22 before appearing at Oulton Park on May 19, Donington Park on June 24, Cadwell Park on July 22, Mallory Park on August 11 and Snetterton on September 23.
