The second annual Spring Classic will take place at Laguna Seca on the weekend of May 18-20, featuring not only the usual vintage race cars (above, T.M. These cars will be in the paddock during all three days of the Spring Classic, and include Saturday’s “Line of Fire” mass fire-up on the front straight.
The Spring Classic’s 11 road race run groups will feature cars from the Can-Am, Trans-Am (under and over 2.5), FIA Sports Cars, Formula Atlantic, Formula B, Formula C, Formula Ford, two-liter Sports Cars, and more, all tackling Laguna Seca’s historic 2.238-mile undulating circuit.
“Everyone who has an interest in motorsports, cars and moving entertainment will enjoy their experience at the Spring Classic that features Nitro Revival,” said Gillian Campbell, the track’s senior vice president of events. “There will be something for fans of all types and ages, from sports and open-wheel race cars to historic motorcycles to the high-powered drag racers. It will be a sensory overload.”
