The 24th annual Millers at Milwaukee Vintage Indy Car Event, sponsored by the Harry Miller Club, will be held July 13-14, 2018, at the famed Milwaukee Mile racetrack in suburban West Allis. The Miller event is one of the most impressive U.S. gatherings of Pre- and Post-WWII Indy and Champ Cars, Roadsters and Laydowns. Vintage racecars designed by Miller, Mercer, Kurtis, Duesenberg, Alfa Romeo and Bugatti participate in this unique run on the Milwaukee Mile (above, Fred Sickler photo). The gates open for the 2018 Miller event at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with vintage cars running the oval track from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
“Car owners typically drive over 100 laps on the track over the two-day event,” said Club President Tedd Zamjahn. “This is a great opportunity for our entrants as well as spectators. Our entrants are passionate about their vintage cars, and are here to tell the story of vintage Indy racing to the public. This year even more of Harry Miller’s extraordinary cars will be running the Mile!”
Spectators will also be able to enjoy the wide range of vendors and exhibits promoting vintage racing history. For further information please visit http://harrymillerclub.com
