Automobiles sur les Champs, the annual Parisian collector car auction by Artcurial Motorcars, returns to La plus belle avenue du monde on Sunday April 8, 2018. For this 12th edition of the sale, Artcurial Motorcars will present 80 vehicles, two-thirds of which will cross the block at no reserve.
Alongside the splendid Bugatti Type 43, an F40 and a DB6 Volante, the fresh-from-the-factory Alpine A110 (above, copyright image courtesy of Artcurial Motorcars), is bound to attract great attention. This new A110, launched to mark the return of the French manufacturer, will be the first example to be offered at auction — a unique opportunity for those who missed out on the chance to order this sports car when it was first presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017, with production limited to 1,955 examples.
Cars will not be the only stars in the sale, with a touch of La Dolce Vita in the air on the Champs-Elysées. For the first time, Artcurial Motorcars will present a collection of scooters belonging to a French enthusiast, comprising close to 20 timeless Lambretta and Vespa models.
