The Formula Junior Historic Racing Association has unveiled a special, international series of 10 events to commemorate this year’s golden anniversary of the Formula Junior. Special Formula Junior races will be held in New Zealand (January, Pukekoe); Australia (February, Philip Island); Italy (June 6–8, Monza); Britain (June 28–29, Brands Hatch Superprix); U.S. West (August 15–17, Monterey Historics); U.S. East (August 29–31, Lime Rock); Britain (September, Goodwood Revival); Macao (November, Macao GP); South Africa (February ’09, Kyalami).
The organizers have further announced that the event to be held in conjunction with the Monterey Historics will include three separate race groups for front-engine, rear-drum, and rear-disc equipped cars and will feature prominently in the weekend’s activities.
