The 14th annual Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance, scheduled for October 23 through November 1, has announced that for 2015 it will feature Chrysler. The historic Chrysler brand, now owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), will be represented by a wide range of vehicles celebrating the various marques produced by the manufacturer over the years, including Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto and Imperial
The Festival opens with the Savannah Speed Classic at the historic Hutchinson Island road course on the grounds of the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on the weekend of October 23-25 before shifting to Hilton Head Island the following weekend.
Public activities will begin on Saturday October 31 with the Aero Expo and Car Club Showcase, which this year will feature cars from Germany. A new element of the Aero Expo this year will be a display of vintage aircraft, both private and corporate, and the latest leading edge automobiles will also be represented at the event. Vehicles from the 1950s will be showcased in a display honoring “Life in the Suburbs.”
Everything culminates on Sunday November 1 with the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance itself at the Port Royal Golf Club adjacent to the freshly renovated Westin Hilton Head Resort and Spa. For complete information, please visit www.HHIMotoringFestival.com
