Gary Dearn started work for British Rail and now is the Club Secretary for the Ferrari Owner’s Club of Great Britain. His journey has been pretty unique given he rose from being a volunteer incident marshal at Silverstone, to actually running the safety side of Silverstone Circuit. From there he was involved in the design of the Yas Marina Circuit, for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in the UAE. Taking a break to help with the 2012 London Olympics was the last destination prior to him holding his present position at the heart of Ferrari Owners in the UK, a job which allows him to be part of the marque which has been his passion from a very early age. VR`s European Editor, Mike Jiggle, spoke with Gary at the Club’s office about his working life and how he views Ferrari.
