The Alfa Romeo Owners Club will hold its annual National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, beginning on June 15. Alfa Romeo aficionados will descend on Nashville from all over the U.S., Canada and several other countries for five days of automotive fun and frolic to be known as Citta della Musica, Music City.
Before that, however, on Sunday, June 12, a clutch of Alfas will depart from Cleveland, Tennessee, winding its way through three days of bewitching backcountry scenery and curvy roads before arriving at the Nashville Airport Marriott, headquarters for the event.
Among the highlights to be enjoyed by convention attendees will be: a gimmick rally in and around the local area; time trials and an autocross at the new National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky; a Concours d’Elegance at Two Rivers Mansion in Nashville; and tours to local landmarks like the Ryman Auditorium, the Frist Center and the Lane Motor Museum.
Citta della Musica wraps up with an awards brunch on Sunday morning, June 19. A daily schedule of events, registration form and general information is available at the convention web site, www.alfa2016.com.
