The gates of Bicester Heritage opened for the 9th “Sunday Scramble” on May 22 for the first themed event ‘”Supercars through the ages.” The 1,500 visitors and more than 300 cars in attendance meant that all shapes, sizes and eras were represented, from vintage Bugattis to Ferrari F40s, McLarens to vintage Bentleys and everything in-between. Stall holders, showrooms and specialist workshops all threw open their doors to reveal their latest stock and projects as the crowd explored the unique site. With plenty of sun, great food and a very relaxed atmosphere it was an extremely pleasant way to while away a Sunday morning in the company of like minded enthusiasts, their vehicles and the beautiful former RAF Bomber Station. The next Sunday Scramble open day will be on August 7, following the Flywheel Festival at the beginning of July.
