To celebrate the rich heritage of BMW, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association and the Allegheny Chapter of the BMW CCA are organizing 10 days of activities in conjunction with July’s 2009 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
More than 250 BMW show cars are expected to line the fairways of primary venue Schenley Park, including some very rare examples from the BMW NA collection and private collectors nationwide. All BMW owners are invited to attend regardless of year or model.
Events kick off with a scavenger hunt–style Rallye on July 5, and will include a Driver’s School, a BMW club race and picnic at BeaveRun, car shows, a cruise of the Waterfront, and a tour to the Laurel Highlands, as well as the 27th Annual PVGP on the weekend of July 18–19.
