The 5th annual British National Meet will be held June 3 and 4, 2016. This year the event is moving to a decommissioned SAC Air Force Base, now known as The Arkansas Aeroplex, in Blytheville, Arkansas, and will be joining two other huge automotive events.
British National Meet will be celebrating British Car Weeks 20th anniversary. Mass drives, parties, car shows, speed events and a live band are all part of this years National Meet. British Car owners will also get free admission and a police escort to the Cars and Cycles Against Cancer Car Show (CACAC) on Saturday June 4. Hundreds of fantastic cars will be on display, all to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Dennis Gage from TV’s My Classic Car and Montana the Pin Striper will be there. The first ever Arkansas Mile will also take place on the Aeroplex during the National Meet. The Airport is home to a two-mile-long runway. Cars are coming from all over the United States to see just how fast they can go. Spectator Admission is free to British Car owners and a special VIP tent is being set up on the finish line for attendant Britons. Several McLarens and a Lotus or two are expected to participate.
