After a successful debut running in 2016, Cars in the Claydons expanded to a two-day offering for this year.
Visitors to Buckinghamshire’s Claydon Estate (above, Pete Austin photo) were handed the opportunity to see a mouth-watering collection of cars and motorcycles, with the display areas all located amid the private gardens that surround Claydon House, home to the Verney family since 1620.
A Touring Assembly meant 50 cars arrived at Claydon after enjoying a nearly 130-mile route through the Buckinghamshire countryside, and Jeremy Callow scored victory in The Claydon Cup, the event’s competitive ACU-sanctioned Trial.
Plans are already being formulated for an enhanced event in 2018, with an opening weekend of September date announced.
