The Chantilly Arts and Elegance Concours d’Elegance 2015 will be staged 5-6 September in France on the grounds of the Domaine de Chantilly, located in the town of Chantilly between Calais and Paris.
Similar to last year’s event, the 2015 Chantilly Arts and Elegance will consist of three judged events – a Concours d’Etat for classic cars, a modern car Concours d’Elegance and a competition for the invited car clubs on the quality of their presentation, the diversity and the originality of the models presented. The weekend also included a rally through the scenic Chantilly and Selis countryside.
Held in Le Notre gardens in the Chateau in Chantilly, the Peter Auto-organised Concours will bring together some 100 exceptional cars divided into ten classes. In 2014, the Best of Show went to a 1938 Delahaye 135M Cabriolet designed by Figoni and Falaschi owned by the American collector Peter Mullin.
The themes of the 10 categories at the Chantilly Concours 2015 have been completely renewed to provide a new spectacle with cars rarely seen on display. The great names in the history of motor racing will be in pride of place with the categories Racing Bugattis, Formula 1 1966-1972 and Grand Touring Cars from the road to the track. Categories for less sporting but original cars will include “Voitures de Grandes Dames”, Iconoclastic interiors and European Chassis with American Engines. Notable entries include a 1932 Bentley 8-Litre Le Mans; 1930 Avion Voisin C14 Demi Berline; 1928 Mercedes 680 S Saoutchik; 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO; 1956 Jaguar XKSS and the ex-Ursula Andress 1958 BMW 507; among others.
