• The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has announced the achievement of a major milestone: the event’s total charitable giving to date has surpassed the $25 million mark. Total donations exceeded that figure after Pebble Beach Company CEO Bill Perocchi distributed $1.7 million from the 2017 Concours to local organizations at the event’s annual charity luncheon in November. “We’re so glad that an event that brings great cars together can also bring help to people in need,” said Concours Chairman Sandra Button. “Our thanks go out to all of the many people and the many partners who have helped us reach this level of giving.”
• The Board of Directors of the Concours of America have announced that long-time friends and supporters of the event, Sam and Emily Mann have been named “2018 Collectors of the Year.” Sam and Emily have selected five spectacular vehicles from their world-renowned collection to display at the 40th Annual Concours d’Elegance of America, which be held July 27-29 at The Inn at St. John’s, in Plymouth, Michigan.

• Peter Auto, specialist organizer of international events like the Tour Optic 2ooo and Le Mans Classic dedicated to classic cars, and more recently Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, has decided to offer owners of these remarkable cars a new opportunity to give them a run in the Rallye des Légendes Richard Mille. Participation in this unique event of its type will be limited to 50 cars produced between 1925 and 1975 selected depending on their exceptional and historic character. The Rallye des Légendes Richard Mille will be held over a three-day period on a star-shaped route which, every evening, will bring the participants back to the hub town.
