• A 1927 Bentley 3-Litre Speed Model Tourer was the star of the show at the Bonhams auction at the RAF Museum in Hendon on April 28th, selling for £225,500—50 percent over its high estimate of £150,000. First unveiled at the 1919 Olympia Motor Exhibition, W.O. Bentley’s 3-Litre model would become a legend in motor racing history and has become the archetypal vintage sports car.
