The Concorso Italiano 2015 was held Saturday, August 15th on the fairways of the Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, California. The Cars of Ferrari were featured at the 30th annual Concorso Italiano, which saw more than 300 cars and motorcycles of Italian origin on display.
The 2015 Concorso Italiano honored the 60th anniversary of Ferrari in the United States by providing a special ‘centerpiece’ display area for older Ferraris and modern supercars. The Thomassima II of Tom Meade was among the interesting Ferraris on display at this year’s event. After stored in boxes stacked in a barn for more than three decades, the wild Thomassima II was fresh off of a six-year restoration.
Don Panoz was presented with La Bella Macchina award in appreciation of his contribution to the continuing passion of automobiles.
Best of Show at the Concorso Italiano 2015 went to the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta.

The Thomassima II was by far the most unique vehicle in the show and tied to the American designer, who won Enzo Ferrari’s friendship while testing it at Enzo’s track. They spoke in Italian for over 40 minutes. As Road and Track said “All That a Ferrari COULD be, but with more SEX added.” The latest Thomassima, TIIII, is in my care and is being built.
Wonderful photos, but were the Maseratis staying home that day? That is a Bora, not a Merak -but they are easily confused.
I love the dark blue Giulietta Spider with the Minilites or Rota wheels. I wish I knew who owned it; I would like to ask a few questions about the car!
