The Crosslé Car Company, the world’s longest-standing constructor of customer racing cars, is celebrating the six decades since the late Dr. John Crosslé MBE built and raced his first car, marking the occasion by displaying the Crosslé 32F with which Nigel Mansell won 27 races and the 1977 British Formula Ford Championship. The 32F will be the centerpiece of a special display at Historic Motorsport International, which will be held at ExCeL London, from February 23-26.
Founded in 1957 in Northern Ireland, Crosslé Cars has built nearly 1,000 racing cars to date, and its HMI display will showcase significant cars from the company’s past, alongside archive material from the company’s days in top-level competition.
Historic Motorsport International will open its doors at 12 noon on Thursday, February 23, followed by the associated London Classic Car Show at 3 p.m. that afternoon, also at ExCeL London. Tickets provide access to both shows, and are now available from the show website, www.historicmotorsportinternational.co.uk
