For the first time since the inaugural Masters Historic Formula One race in 2011, this April 17-19 the series will race on Barcelona’s full Grand Prix circuit. The previous layout’s modern-era chicane always limited the enjoyment of the drivers, so this new configuration should prove more suitable.
Titled the Espiritu de Montjuic to commemorate the GP’s former urban home, the event will feature support from the FIA Masters Historic Sports Cars, Gentlemen Drivers and Pre-66 Touring cars, as well as invitation grids from Group C, HGPCA, SRO and KTM. This original Spanish historic festival, promoted by Jesus Pozo, will supplement the on-track activities with music, car club displays, fun fairs and trade stalls.
With a pay-as-you-go test day on the Friday, a Guinness World Record attempt for the most Formula One Cars on track at any one time during Friday lunchtime and a party for the drivers on Friday evening, it becomes an event not to be missed! For complete information please visit
