Happy Halloween from Sports Car Digest.
Hennessey Performance Engineering is well-known in modern tuner circles for their ability to wring out amazing performance figures from Corvettes to Vipers and nearly everything in between.
One of their latest creations is a supercharged version of the Cadillac CTS-V that turns the already quick Caddy into a 700hp beast capable of 11.07 second quarter mile times. Strong.
The Hennessey CTS-V pulls so strong – 0.99 Gs off the line – that its force apparently triggers the “Something bad has happened to this car” function within the Cadillac’s OnStar safety system, prompting an OnStar representative to call and ask if everything is okay.
We hope you enjoy the blast down the quarter mile and the subsequent OnStar exchange.
