Gooding and Company Scottsdale Auction 2011 – Preview

1962 Mercedes-Benz 300SL RoadsterGooding & Company will hold its 2011 Scottsdale Auction event on January 21-22 at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 4th annual Gooding Scottsdale auction will again comprise two days, with an auction on Friday, January 21st in addition to the Saturday, January 22nd sale.
Gooding has assembled 130 cars for its 2011 Scottsdale Auction, headlined by the 1930 Duesenberg Model J Dual Cowl Phaeton; 1948 Tucker 48; 1941 Chrysler Newport Dual Cowl Phaeton; 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS; 1953 Fiat 8V Supersonic and a survivor 1962 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster.
The Gooding Scottsdale auction will also feature a collection of Ferrari and Italian supercars on behalf of the estate of the renowned collector Benny Caiola. The offered cars include a Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, Maserati MC 12, Ferrari F40, Ferrari F50 and a sports racing Ferrari 333 SP.

The Gooding & Company Scottsdale Auction 2011 will be held on Friday, January 21 at 11 a.m. and Saturday, January 22 at 11 a.m. at 68th Street and East Camelback Road adjoining Scottsdale Fashion Square. Auction previews will be held Thursday, January 20 from 9:00am – 6:00pm, Friday, January 21 from 9:00am – 6:00pm and Saturday, January 22 from 9:00am – 6:00pm. An auction catalog for $75 admits two to the viewing and auction. General admission tickets can be purchased at the door for $30 per person.
