Hans Wurl is joining Gooding & Company as Automotive Specialist, joining Gooding’s team of specialists that includes David Brynan, Paul Hageman, Garth Hammers and David Gooding. Based in Seattle, Wurl has served as advisor to noted collectors and participated in collector car events around the world.

Most recently, Wurl served as Collection Manager for a prominent private collection in the Pacific Northwest. He was responsible for the care, procurement and sales of vintage racing, pre and post war European and American classic automobiles as well as an extensive collection of museum-quality automobilia including a substantial literary archive.
Early in his tenure, as a mechanic, Wurl directed the conservation and restoration of numerous Concours class-winning automobiles including post-war Ferraris and pre-war Bentleys, among others. He also prepared and supported numerous cars during vintage racing events such as the Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
An active enthusiast, Wurl has participated in a number of events including the Pebble Beach Concours, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Cavallino Classic and the Amelia Island Concours where he presented a Best in Show winner. He has attended the Motor Classica show in Essen, Germany and Retromobile in Paris, France as well as driven collector cars in motoring events in Europe, Mexico, and the US.
Wurl serves on the steering committee of the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, Washington, which consults the museum’s board on topics ranging from exhibitions and events to fundraising and development.
