A few hours before the start of this June’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, everyone in attendance will be treated to a 45-minute contest for cars from the Group C era at the legendary event. Race fans will be able to witness machinery from Jaguar, Sauber-Mercedes, Porsche, Mazda, and Nissan, among others, battling it out on the famed Circuit de la Sarthe. This will be the 10th such event organized by Motor Racing Legends, and that group’s Duncan Wiltshire said, “Each year, we work with the ACO to pick a different period of Le Mans history for the support race, and on the two previous occasions when we’ve run Group C cars, there has been an overwhelming reaction from Le Mans fans. We’re often told by fans who came primarily to see the modern 24 Hours that the historic support race was a real highlight of the weekend.”
This year’s 24 Hours is scheduled for June 12-13, and further information about this support race can be found at either www.motorracinglegends.com or www.groupcracing.com
