This year marks a very special landmark for the Historic Sports Car Club, which opens its Golden Jubilee season with a weekend at Castle Combe Circuit on April 16-17. It was at this same Chippenham venue where the Griffiths Formula race — run within a Frazer Nash and Porsche-themed meeting on May 14, 1966, and won by Neil Corner in a Jaguar D-Type — was the catalyst for the HSCC, which has become an organization held in high regard by historic racing enthusiasts throughout the world.
During each day’s lunch break at the event, HSCC is hoping to be able to recreate the original grid of that 1966 race in tribute to its beginnings. For complete information please visit http://www.hscc.org.uk
