The Burlwood Motorsport Club has announced that it will organize the first annual Brack Classic Hillclimb at Inglis Falls in Owen Sound, Ontario, on September 17, 2016. The event, to be run in cooperation with the Grey-Sauble Conservation Authority, the Municipality of Georgian Bluffs and the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance, will be hosted by three-time Canadian Driving Champion Bill Brack, on the Saturday of the Cobble Beach Concours weekend. It will take on a supportive, coordinated role intended to create a “Goodwood Style” nostalgic event by combining fabulous cars on the hill and in the car show with demonstration runs, period dress, food trucks, picnics and live entertainment.
A reception planned for Friday evening will open the weekend, with the Hiilclimb competition and associated events taking place on Saturday.
Cars and Motorcycles that fit into one the following categories: Vintage (up to 1962), Historic (1963-1972) and Classic (1973-1989), will be eligible for the competition. The course will be comprised of a one-kilometer section of the Inglis Falls Road, which will be closed for the event. The Concours will take place on the Sunday.
