The inaugural Presidio of San Francisco Concours d’Elegance will take place July 19th, 2009 at the Presidio Main Post in San Francisco.
The Presidio will undoubtedly be a very special setting for a Concours d’Elegance, as this hilly and wooded national park overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay, making it one of the most beautiful public spaces in the country.
The inaugural Presidio of San Francisco Concours d’Elegance will feature the marques of Packard and Bentley, plus a wide variety of classic motorcars and a Cigar & Cognac Lounge, fashion show, gourmet food and wine tasting. Free to the public will be green car and vintage military vehicle displays as well as an exotic motorcar display featuring the newest models from Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini.
All ticketing for this event is on a pre-sale basis only; there will be no tickets sold at the gate. Tickets to the event are $50.00 and include an event program, fashion show and admittance to the Cigar & Cognac Lounge. Organizers expect this event to sell out, so it is strongly recommended that attendees purchase tickets well in advance.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Presidio Historical Association. This non-profit organization, founded in 1959, has a primary focus of interpreting and preserving the history of the Presidio of San Francisco.
