When the subject of discussion turns to French racecars, the famed name of Delage always features prominently. Though Louis Delage only built cars independently from 1905-1932, his lithe and fast machines amassed an impressive array of victories and speed records during this formative period in motorsport history.
This month’s featured site was created by the French Les Amis de Delage club, which is devoted to the history, competition and appreciation of these fine machines. With both English and French text versions, this site includes a wealth of information, including a history of the company, a biography of Louis Delage, a complete racing history with table of specifications of all 14 racing models produced from 1905-1932, a table of race results and speed records, a collection of period advertising, table of road models with specifications, and an eclectic photo gallery of modern and period photos.
