Porscheplatz is where the Porsche plant, administrative headquarters and museum are located in Zuffenhausen, outside the city of Stuttgart, Germany. Sports Car Digest has been there, and we wholeheartedly suggest you do the same as it’s a special place.
Porscheplatz also refers to the Porsche-sponsored hospitality tent that follows the motorsports event circuit. It provides Porsche owners with several activities, typically to include visits by the Porsche team drivers and managers, special presentations by factory VIPs and interaction with National Porsche Club staff. They also offer catered lunches, special memorabilia and drawings for exclusive race events.
The latest Porscheplatz will be at the April 18-20 Long Beach Grand Prix to support the Porsche RS Spyders racing in the American Le Mans Series race. There are two days of activities provided by the Porscheplatz tent, plus a Porsche-only parking corral close to the track. While registration for Porscheplatz takes place on site, tickets and parking are only available through a direct visit to the box office or by calling 888-82-SPEED.
