There has been much rejoicing over the return to F1 next year of Team Lotus and I cannot understand what the fuss is about. The team will be no more Colin than the Bugatti Veyron is Ettore. Force India came good at Spa and Eddie Jordan preened himself, as well he might. Having been Midland and Spyker, Jordan GP is now Force India. Eddie summed it up by referring to the team’s DNA. There have been changes in personnel since Eddie stepped down, but he created the team’s culture, just as Eric Broadley lives on at Lola.
