Many thanks for the copies of Vintage Racecar which awaited my return from travels. Since I brought back a terrible cold that entrenched itself in my ears during the flight, the magazines you sent are serving as medicine to both bedfast body and beleaguered soul. Lovely publication, and right up my alley, as the articles often cover a period in motor racing that I find of great interest, having been there for some of it. My obsession with racing sort of faded away in the late sixties, partially because thereafter, the cars on the track seldom had much to do with cars that could be seen on the road, or so it seemed to me.
